During 2010 Adam conducted a 2 1/2 month Joint Fires (JF) Coherency study as part of the Land End to End Study. The JF Coherency Study was required to develop the understanding of the JF Capability Area and associated Through Life Capability management (TLCM) risks and issues. The study’s aim was to quantify the complexities of Joint Fires and identify opportunities for a simplified approach to the management of JF in a TLCM context.
Adam’s in-depth understanding of TLCM, and of contemporary JF processes and equipment, allowed him to quickly identify where improvements could be made regarding the management of this complex capability area. His findings and recommendations were adopted by the Team conducting the overarching Land End to End Report.
